Who I Am
I got into coaching because of what this game did for me. I lost my father when I was 15 years old, and basketball gave me something to hold onto when everything else felt like it was falling apart. The gym became my sanctuary. The game became my teacher. The coaches who believed in me during that time changed the course of my life.
That is why I am here — and that is the lens through which I coach. I believe that when a young person knows their coach genuinely cares about them as a person, not just as a player, something unlocks. They work harder. They trust deeper. They grow faster.
Basketball is the vehicle. Character is the destination.
